Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Management Accountant to support our finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial information. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial reporting activities. This role is ideal for a qualified / part qualified accountant or finance graduate eager to develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
- Process journal entries with oversight across each businesses general ledger
- Help maintain accurate financial records and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Work with internal departments to gather relevant financial data
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Working toward ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel
- Working knowledge of Sage Intacct, including its dimensions, reporting, and month-end processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision
