As 80 DAYS’ team continues to grow, we’re looking to recruit an Account Executive; this is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student looking to cut their teeth in the marketing industry. The role of Account Executive is to support the Account Management team as they manage customer relationships and ensure the successful delivery of projects and marketing campaigns. The role shall include on-the-job training and mentoring, with excellent opportunity for progression with the Account Management team.
Permanent Role, Edinburgh
The responsibilities of an Account Executive include:
- Analysis & Reporting
- Produce monthly reporting for clients, updating them on work completed, work planned, and the performance of their website & marketing activity.
- Work with Account Managers to identify any issues with website performance and advise on a course of action to address.
- Finance & Admin
- Set up clients within the agency’s IT systems (e.g. CRM, invoicing, etc.).
- Assist with scheduling meetings & travel arrangements.
- Client Relationship Management
- Support & shadow Account Managers in communications with clients.
- Act as a backup point of contact for key clients when an Account Manager may be unavailable.
- Deliver digital marketing team’s output to clients and provide clear explanation.
- Identify new opportunities for clients.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent inter-personnel & communication skills.
- Strong organisation skills, with an aptitude for multi-tasking and managing various priorities.
- A good understanding of Microsoft office packages.
- A degree in marketing- or business-related subject.
- Demonstrably commercially-minded.
- Experience & knowledge of digital marketing techniques including SEO, SEM, Social Media, etc.
- A fluent second language.
- Driving licence.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience working within the luxury travel sector and/or a digital marketing agency.
- Experience & knowledge of managing creative projects such as branding, design and website development.
- A working knowledge of Google Analytics, with a Google Analytics Individual Qualification being an added bonus.
- Experience using Google AdWords, Bing Advertising, Facebook Ad Manager, Funnel, Slack, Trello, WordPress, Umbraco & other CMS’s.
- Experience of digital solutions specific to the travel industry – such as online booking engines, PMS, Metasearch, etc.
Location
The role is to be based in 80 DAYS’ head office in Edinburgh city centre, with stunning views of Edinburgh Castle. The role will include regular opportunities for overseas travel for meetings.
