Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join their expanding engineering team, offering full training, handsâon experience, and clear progression into a fully qualified Engineer role.

The Role
This is an excellent entryâlevel opportunity for someone with basic IT knowledge, practical ability and a strong willingness to learn. The role is fieldâbased and will involve UK travel, with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Lead Engineer on installation work as issued by the Project Manager
- Proactively learning quickly how to undertake work for your lead engineer and eventually installation and service calls on your own
- Using your IT knowledge to learn how to take on work on your own
- Being aware of health & safety risks in and around your work area for yourself and others
- Completing documentation as required and requested by the lead engineer
The Ideal Candidate
- Basic IT knowledge
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges
- Good practical ability and confidence using basic hand tools
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year (essential)
- The ability to work at heights (full training provided)
- An awareness of health & safety practices
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
