The Role
As a Data Cabling Engineer you will work on diverse projects primarily in the South UK region, installing and terminating CAT6, CAT6A and fibre optic cabling, including blown fibre. The role is primarily field based and does not involve 9‐5 office hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team to deliver high‐quality projects from site drawings and customer instructions.
- Install and terminate CAT6, CAT6A and fibre optic cabling.
- Undergo security clearance processes for specific contracts.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified candidates are based in the South UK region, possess expertise in cable installation, and have experience with CAT6 & CAT6A and fibre optic cabling. A passion for technology and innovation is a plus.
Essential Experience
- Installing containment, including trunking, basket, conduit and tray work.
- Testing of copper and fibre optic cabling.
