This independent day nursery is looking for a Level 2 or above trained Practitioner to join their Early Years team. They are a Montessori setting and have a different approach to classroom practices using Montessori apparatus. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
A flexible working pattern is required between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00. Salary negotiable. The post will be to work with children aged 0-5 years; therefore, sound knowledge of the EYFS and children's learning and development is essential.
Responsibilities:- Supporting children's play indoors and outdoors
- Liaising with parents
- Completing paperwork and supporting colleagues
- Feeding and changing young children
- Planning, observing and presenting activities/lessons to children whilst tracking progress within the guidance of the EYFS
Candidates should be enthusiastic, have a passion for early years practices and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. Training is an essential part of professional progression, and there are lots of training opportunities provided for practitioners on a wide range of subjects.
