The successful candidate will assist in various product engineering tasks, ensuring smooth testing, troubleshooting, and administrative support. Please note this role is office-based at our UK Main Office in Upper Beeding.
Responsibilities- Assisting in PC hardware troubleshooting and product testing.
- Performing simple PC hardware validation tests.
- Supporting PC hardware test reporting.
- Assisting with component sourcing and reviewing designs (including CAD skills).
- Completing engineering project-related activities.
- Providing administrative support, including Jira administration, shipping document preparation, and works order management.
- Using Backstage (our internal system) for various operational and administrative tasks.
We are seeking a pro-active, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys hands-on technical work. You should have a strong problem-solving mindset and be eager to develop your skills within a growing team.
- Currently studying, working towards or equivalent qualification in one of the following (or relevant experience): Technical Theatre Arts; Computer Science; Electronic Engineering.
- A passion for PC hardware (e.g., PC hobbyist, IT experience).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid passport (for potential travel requirements).
- Basic CAD skills for design reviews.
- Experience with Jira administration.
- Knowledge of engineering project workflows.
- An interest in technical theatre, computing, or electronics.
- Any hands-on experience (e.g. repairing, assembling, or modifying hardware).
- Own transport due to our office location (buses are possible but have a very limited timetable).
