We are looking for a skilled and visionary IT Application Owner to take end-to-end ownership of one of our telecom clients core platforms Salesforce Comms Cloud / CPQ. This is a strategic role combining technical expertise with strong leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Salesforce Comms Cloud / CPQ platform from a technical and architectural standpoint.
- Define and maintain API contracts, ensuring stable and scalable integrations with adjacent systems.
- Establish and enforce best practices for platform usage, development, delivery, and deployment in close collaboration with CI/CD teams.
- Act as the technical authority, performing code reviews and guiding the development team on software engineering best practices.
- Define and maintain technical standards and development guidelines to ensure long-term platform stability and performance.
- Oversee security updates, lifecycle management, and compliance aspects of the platform.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on technical goals and business requirements.
- Serve as the key contact for all matters related to platform performance, roadmap planning, and technical issue resolution.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Comms Cloud / CPQ, including hands-on platform management and architecture.
- Proven track record in managing complex application integrations and driving technical governance.
- Strong background in APEX development, with deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform.
- Experienced in code quality assurance, including performing code reviews and implementing software engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps processes.
- Knowledge of software security, compliance requirements, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to define, communicate, and enforce technical guidelines across cross-functional teams.
- Salesforce Comms Cloud / CPQ certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
*This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be based in the UK.
