About The Role
Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this role is to assist with regular and ad hoc reporting to the group, as well as aiding with relevant analysis as required by management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the Production of Daily, Weekly, & Monthly management information for all areas of the business.
- Develop reporting to support business activities, decision making, and changing priorities.
- Assist with financial analysis as required by the business.
- Ensure reporting is timely, relevant and accurate.
- Supporting the business with ad hoc reports and information requests.
- While not directly interacting with customers, your actions should align with upholding the FCA’s Consumer Duty principles, thereby contributing to fair and beneficial outcomes for our clients.
About You
Knowledge
Whilst this is an entry level role, where full training will be given, some existing skillsets will be advantageous:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel (xlookups, pivot tables, etc).
- Basic knowledge of Power BI.
- Interest in Financial Service and/or an interest in becoming a qualified accountant.
Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Inquisitive mindset.
- Data analysis skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work on own initiative.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties, with some exposure to senior management.
