About the job
We’re 7C3, a content marketing agency based in London and part of Europe’s largest content marketing agency network. We’re looking for a new sub-editor/writer to join the team, who will work across print and digital editorial projects to ensure that all content is the best it can be. A big part of this role will be focused on food and lifestyle content with Sainsbury’s magazine, and any previous experience editing recipes would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Sub-editing content across print, digital, social and video for all agency accounts, ensuring copy is clear, accurate, audience-appropriate and platform-ready.
- Upholding high editorial standards by rigorously checking facts, grammar, spelling, tone of voice and adherence to brand and house style guides.
- Supporting the managing editor with day-to-day workflow management as required, including updating flat plans and schedules.
- Contributing strong editorial ideas that work across print, digital and commercial content.
- Researching and writing food and lifestyle content across agency accounts, while building and maintaining relationships with relevant contributors and contacts.
- Writing commercial and advertorial copy that meets both editorial and client objectives.
- Ensuring content is appropriately adapted and optimised for different platforms.
