79 Group are a MEP contractor based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, operating across the UK.

Our respected clients see us deliver projects of various sizes and complexity across some of the most well-known & prestigious locations in the country.

Works are primarily in retail, banking frameworks, hospitality, leisure, logistics distribution and office fitout.

The primary role of the Electrical Project Manager is the ensure projects are carried out to safety standards, on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of both the client and 79 directors.

The Role requires a methodical and organised approach and although not exclusive include the following:

  • Be able to compile and present/provide to client/other trades all prestart documentation required for projects, ensuring copies of documentation are retained for 79 records.
  • Organising and oversee works for a number of engineers on a daily basis.
  • Carrying out site visits and overseeing ongoing projects.
  • Organising materials for quoted works.
  • Attend all site meetings relating to the project as required/requested.
  • Liaise with other trades and suppliers involved in the project, whilst providing a single point of contact for the client.
  • Obtaining written instruction from the client prior to commencement of any work outside the original scope of works.
  • Monitor and manage installation engineer’s performance and quality of work.
  • Provide regular engineer reports to 79 management.
  • Monitor and ensure all site health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor and ensure all trades employed by 79 are conforming to 79 work schedule and codes of practice.
  • Continually look for opportunities to reduce costs to 79 whilst not maintaining or improving material/installation quality or delivery of project.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to 79 management.
  • Auditing and review of electrical test certificates.
  • Salary £ TBC – dependant on experience
  • A car allowance or company vehicle is provided
  • 25 days holiday per annum + 5 ‘ME’ days after 6 month probation
  • Additional holidays are available following a successful probation period.

  • 1 weekend a year in Croyde for the triathlon
