We have recently opened a brand-new restaurant in Mayfair, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our kitchen team. This beautifully designed space will offer an exceptional dining experience, combining high-quality cuisine with outstanding service in a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere from morning to night.
This exciting new opening is the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognized food concepts. POSITION SUMMARY
The Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) plays a key role within our pastry team, responsible for preparing and executing high-quality desserts, baked goods, and other sweet creations. You will work closely with senior chefs to ensure creativity, consistency, and excellence in all pastry operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and execute a range of desserts, pastries, and baked items to the highest standards.
- Manage your section efficiently during service, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene in all pastry areas.
- Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef on new menu development and seasonal creations.
- Support ordering, stock control, and waste reduction efforts.
- Assist in mentoring junior pastry chefs and commis in the team.
- Follow all company policies and food safety regulations to maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Work seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a flawless guest experience.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Pastry Expertise & Passion: Strong foundation in pastry techniques, with a creative and detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience in High-End Pastry Kitchens: Previous experience as a Pastry CDP or strong experience as a Pastry Commis Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality setting.
- Team Player with a Strong Work Ethic: Able to remain calm and focused under pressure, with great communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent Time Management: Capable of running your section smoothly and delivering consistently high results.
- Commitment to Quality: A genuine drive to uphold the highest standards in taste, presentation, and cleanliness.
