Transcend Program Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into a clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from seven to one, standardizing processes to provide a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, it will remediate the end-of-life system exposure we risk towards the end of this decade.

Job Overview We are seeking a strong PMO Operations Manager to support delivery excellence and global PMO consolidations for Transcend, a global transformation program focused on standardizing ways of working and consolidating seven ERP systems into one S/4 HANA platform supporting the Innovative Medicine business. This role will be located in Zug, Switzerland, with alternative locations considered in Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Canada, Brazil, United States, and the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• PMO Operations Coordination & Governance: Lead PMO operations across program phases, support integrated planning, RAID management, change control, schedule tracking, scope governance, status reporting, risk identification, compliance, deliverable tracking, and documentation.
• Team Management & Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate PMO resources, provide coaching, align priorities, build relationships, and manage issue resolution.
• Continuous Improvement & Operational Support: Align deployment activities, provide updates on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities, promote data-driven continuous improvement, and maintain effective PMO operations.

Experience & Education

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in program or project management and PMO experience within large, complex, global transformation programs, preferably ERP implementations.
• Track record of leading PMO operations, managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed resources.
• Strong expertise in delivery governance, RAID management, schedule and scope control, status reporting, and risk management.
• Ability to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with project management tools, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
