Purpose of the role

Medical Science Liaison – Haematology (South East England, including East Anglia and NE London). This field‑based position reports to the Head of Field Medical and works with a team of five MSLs.

What to expect

Medical Science Liaisons (MSL) are the face of the Medical Team in the field, engaging directly with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). In this role you will:

  • Provide scientific and medical support to internal and external customers in response to clinical interest from partners.
  • Deliver and share knowledge to ensure the highest standards of brand/therapy expertise.
  • Provide insights to the UK Medical Affairs (MAF) team and Country Value Team (CVT) to help optimise brand, therapy and medical strategy.
  • Support the Haematology franchise and contribute to the growth of this therapeutic area.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic, healthcare, or industry background with a passion for healthcare.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, assimilate, and distill large amounts of information.
  • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills – concise, data‑driven, and tailored to stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking, strong project‑management, and decision‑making influence.
  • Business insight, prioritization, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
