We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Executive Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team specialising in Dermatology and Rheumatology. The successful candidate will promote our innovative pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals within these therapeutic areas, build positive relationships, and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for targeted customers in Dermatology and Rheumatology.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in these fields.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.
- Conduct product presentations and therapeutic area discussions to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date information is conveyed.
- Collaborate with internal and external cross‑functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare professionals in handling product inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system.
Reporting Structure & Colleagues
Reporting into the Regional Business Manager, you will work closely with Account Manager colleagues, Customer Pathway Managers (CPM’s), Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Marketing, and Healthcare Compliance teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or account management, with a focus on Dermatology and/or Rheumatology.
- ABPI qualified.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, compliance, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision‑making.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs and attend industry events.
