This role leads the launch and establishment of the VELYS Spine system within the Global DePuy Synthes International business, driving high returns on capital and meeting strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute International strategies for the VELYS Spine Platforms and support the Business Plan.
  • Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, including Spine product platform, HEMA, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial to launch VELYS Spine in top markets.
  • Develop accelerated market access strategy and define clinical and health‐economic evidence requirements.
  • Recommend organizational design to support new technology platform.
  • Represent international needs in product pipeline discussions with global marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.
  • Align Integrated Business Planning (IBP) with launch plans and manage resources behind strategic imperatives to maximize impact.
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders for each technology platform.
  • Partner with Regional Spine teams to plan and roll out launch activities.
  • Support lighthouse center strategy and plans.
  • Coordinate with EMEA, APAC, and LATAM commercial leaders and markets.
  • Collaborate with Professional Education and Commercial Education teams on education plans.
  • Champion Health Care compliance, quality, and safety principles.
  • Quantify and ensure marketing programs' quality, timeliness, and cost‐effectiveness.
  • Create and direct communications, research and public relations plans.
  • Develop and maintain annual marketing budget.
  • Ensure compliance with ethics and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in marketing, with deep expertise in orthopedics, spine, clinical technology solutions, digital products, and capital systems. Global or regional experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in market development, value creation, customer insights, and critical functions such as sales, operations, R&D, finance, and business development.
  • Digital savviness, technological curiosity, and drive for results.
  • Strategic orientation and strong organizational leadership with change‐management experience.
  • High personal resiliency, enterprise mindset, and influence capabilities in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Inspirational, engaging leadership, decision‐making capability, and change‐agent mindset.
  • Adaptability, innovation, collaboration, and business discipline.
  • Financial acumen and budget management.
  • Language preference: English and other regional languages beneficial.
  • Travel: 40‐50% international travel.
