Overview: Drive commercialization and launch excellence for Monarch and ensure go to market readiness for digital innovations, including new business models such as robotics managed services and subscription services.
This Senior Manager will lead cross functional launch execution, pilot platform and service models, and translate technology and innovation into scalable, revenue generating offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead launch excellence (LEX) for Monarch, achieving a go/no go decision and developing comprehensive commercialization plans.
- Represent the business at country level in all regional and global forums.
- Collaborate with the region and global teams on new digital innovations and their commercialization in the UK/IRW (United Kingdom, Ireland, and Wales).
- Assess new revenue streams, including managed services for robotics, to enable capital efficient profitable growth.
- Build and execute commercial playbooks, templates, and procedures to support sales teams and accelerate future launches.
- Collect launch learnings and drive continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and governance.
- Maintain external stakeholder relationships across NHS bodies, providers, industry partners, and innovation networks to accelerate adoption and scale.
- Provide analysis, insights, and progress reports to senior leadership on all critical projects.
- Deliver financial commitments for the platforms and demonstrate independent judgment in complex decision making.
- Create a culture of inclusivity and continuously develop the leadership pipeline.
- Attend local congresses, including weekend events, as required.
Qualifications
- BA/BS required; MA, MSc, MBA preferred.
- Experienced leader with a proven track record in multiple business contexts: new business, turnaround, change management, realignment, and scaling success models.
- Med Tech experience essential; experience in surgical and capital business preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen with strategic mindset.
- Experience leading complex commercial activities, including multi stakeholder negotiations.
- Awareness of the UK healthcare market and its economic environment.
- Track record in building mutually beneficial networks and partnership models with external leaders and agencies.
- Drive for results, ability to set a pace for the team, and to make required decisions.
