Purpose of the role

This role is critical to the growth of our J&J MedTech Biosurgery (Adjunctive Haemostat) portfolio within key surgical private and NHS centres in the Midlands area. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the business through flawless account planning, sales execution, and collaboration with the wider Johnson & Johnson MedTech family.

What to expect

  • You will have responsibility for sales growth within key centres in the territory. Through strong sales leadership you will ensure the annual sales business plan is met.
  • Build an in‑depth understanding of the market dynamics within the key accounts, adapting the strategy to maximise sales opportunities within Biosurgery.
  • Lead the territory through the development of comprehensive business plans, focusing on high‑value opportunities to grow and develop new business, including taking competitor share and adopting new technologies while maintaining key customers.
  • Develop accounts and manage the relationship between the company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to improve impact of all activities driving growth.
  • Drive internal collaboration to maximise opportunities across the wider Johnson & Johnson MedTech family while developing key customer relationships and building advocacy for the J&J MedTech Surgery portfolio.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively to ensure the right resources and support are available to execute our strategies in the Biosurgery (Adjunctive Haemostat) market.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of sales success within Biosurgery or the wider surgical environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of both the NHS and private sector markets across multidiscipline surgical areas.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders both internally and externally to drive plans and strategies forward.
  • Effective communication skills, presenting aims and objectives clearly and concisely.
  • Influencing and business partnering skills – understand stakeholder requirements, analyse needs, and develop strategies that drive adoption of technologies.
