The Commercial Education Trauma Manager is responsible for leading the design and delivery of education programs that support trauma healthcare professionals across the UK. This role plays a critical part in enhancing clinical knowledge, supporting safe product use, and accelerating adoption of innovative trauma solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leading clinicians to deliver impactful learning experiences that ultimately improve patient outcomes and strengthen DePuy Synthes’ position in trauma care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of trauma-focused professional education programs aligned with commercial and product strategies.
- Design and deliver training initiatives, including procedural techniques and product application for healthcare professionals.
- Identify education gaps and implement targeted programs to address evolving clinical and training needs.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams to ensure education initiatives align with business objectives.
- Plan and manage educational events such as workshops, cadaver labs, symposia, and regional training programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), trauma surgeons, and healthcare institutions.
- Monitor program effectiveness using performance metrics and feedback, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure all education activities and materials comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Incorporate innovative and digital learning approaches to enhance engagement and training effectiveness.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination for education initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or related field).
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Typically 5–8 years of relevant experience in medical education, commercial training, or healthcare program management.
- Experience designing and delivering education programs for healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clinical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
Preferred:
- Experience in trauma or orthopedic medical device education.
- Familiarity with surgical training environments, including hands-on labs and workshops.
