As a Clinical Specialist in the North‑West region, you will support the sales team by maintaining existing customer relationships and expanding business across UK territories. Your role requires frequent travel within the region, occasional overnight stays and some international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in‑theatre support to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff, including product usage guidance.
  • Deliver accurate product information and surgical technique indications to clinicians.
  • Offer first‑class service via training, stock checks, timely deliveries, and theatre support to ensure successful operations.
  • Promote correct use of DePuy products through organized education meetings and training sessions.
  • Develop business opportunities in key focus accounts and support Territory Managers in converting these opportunities.
  • Provide support to DePuy medical education events.
  • Achieve business goals aligned with company core values.
  • Promote the portfolio and services to orthopaedic surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Maintain and grow business per the individual business plan and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clinical partners; engage KOLs across the portfolio.
  • Cover surgical cases as needed to support regional colleagues.
  • Present at hospital meetings and exhibitions.
  • Use the company CRM system effectively for reporting and administration.
  • Complete business reporting and administrative tasks promptly.
  • Adhere to HCC Standards and the company code of conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in orthopaedics, sports medicine, or a solid understanding of theatre environments.
  • Working knowledge of the NHS.
  • Meaningful experience in health sciences, anatomy, and/or arthroscopy.
  • Clinical qualification such as ODP, RGN, or Physiotherapy.
  • Degree in science, sports science, business, or technology.
