MedTech Sales – Clinical Specialist at DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson, responsible for maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships in UK sales territories. The role supports territory managers, provides theatre support, and promotes the Depuy product portfolio.
Principal Accountabilities
- Provide theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding Depuy products.
- Deliver accurate product and indication information, including surgical techniques, to orthopaedic consultants and staff.
- Deliver first‑class service: training, stock checks, timely deliveries, and support to ensure successful operations.
- Promote correct use of Depuy products through regular, organised customer education meetings and training sessions.
- Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in key focus accounts, communicate to the Territory Manager and assist in conversion of opportunities.
- Support Depuy medical education events.
- Achieve business goals in line with CREDO values.
- Promote portfolio and services to orthopaedic surgeons and theatre staff.
- Maintain and grow the business per the individual business plan and key opinion leader targets.
- Proactively grow relationships with clinical stakeholders; build a portfolio of key opinion leaders.
- Cover surgical cases as required; present at hospital meetings and exhibitions.
- Use company CRM effectively; provide timely business reporting and administration.
- Adhere fully to Johnson & Johnson HCC standards and business conduct standards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in orthopaedics/sports medicine or related field.
- Working knowledge of the theatre environment, NHS, and recent changes.
- Strong commercial drive and acumen.
- Relevant experience in health sciences/anatomy or arthroscopy preferred.
- Clinical qualification (e.g., ODP, RGN, physiotherapy) a plus.
- Degree in science, sports science, discipline, business, or technology.
