We distribute to the biggest news publishers in the UK – from the Sun, Mirror and Daily Mail to the Times and Telegraph.
The Opportunity
The Campaigns Administrator plays a key role in the delivery of 72Point’s content to media, and its collation for clients. The role is responsible for the final layer of subbing content before issue, ensuring top-class editorial standards have been maintained to secure earned media coverage. It supports media relations by liaising with press teams and proactively tracking story placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with creative teams to ensure stories are ready for issue
- Acting as the final layer of proofing ahead of story distribution, subbing for content errors, including grammar, spelling, key messaging, brand placement
- Packaging up campaigns ready for media distribution and liaising with press teams
- Check morning and afternoon coverage, ensuring correct branding, key messaging, use of assets, and that KPIs are met.
- Liaise with SWNS and the media relations team to support coverage and story placement.
- Follow up with publications, news teams, and media contacts to track story usage.
- Keep account managers informed of story performance, including any rejected publications.
- Log all sourced coverage accurately and maintain organised records.
- Compile interim coverage reports when requested.
- Prepare and deliver final coverage documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards and KPIs.
- Monitor a wide range of media channels, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs, to identify opportunities for clients.
- Compile data and performance reports for management as required.
- Support the Senior Team Administrator with logging and monitoring sold and pending projects.
- Maintain, monitor, and update the ideas database to ensure accurate tracking.
- Organise and prepare daily creative brainstorm sessions.
- Maintain the project tracker to ensure smooth workflow and project oversight.
Skills & Experience Required
- You will either be a recent graduate with a degree in Journalism, PR or Creative Writing, or have 12 months+ experience working on a regional or national newspaper
- Excellent written skills, attention to detail, use of grammar and knowledge of the English language
- A keen interest in national news publications, such as the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and Daily Telegraph
- A keen interest in social media
- Experience in Microsoft suite
- A clear and confident communicator
- Highly organised, experienced at working in a fast-paced environment, able to juggle multiple tasks while remaining calm under pressure
