Role Overview

The Sales Administrator plays a central role within the sales team, acting as the key point of contact for customers and supporting field sales activity. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining order processing, customer relationship management, telesales, coordination and administrative duties across the business. This person is highly knowledgeable about the product range, proactive in maintaining customer relationships, and comfortable juggling office-based sales activity with occasional operational and event support. Due to the nature of the business, the role also encompasses an operational element in supporting the warehousing and logistics team, helping to pack product and meet customer requirements. We are seeking a personable, proactive, and highly organised Sales Administrator to support our growing sales operation. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, the field sales team, and internal colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Processing & Administration
    • Process and manage online orders, including picking and packing activities.
    • Process orders received from on-trade customers.
    • Process orders received directly from consumers and trade customers.
    • Ensure all orders are accurately processed and fulfilled in a timely manner.
    • Maintain accurate customer and order records, including the use of our CRM system.
  • Customer Service & Communication
    • Liaise with customers by phone and email regarding orders, deliveries, and general enquiries.
    • Proactively contact customers to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Provide support for online sales enquiries and customer requests.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • Sales Support
    • Provide administrative support to the field-based sales team.
    • Assist with customer follow-ups, sales activities, and account management tasks.
    • Support the wider sales function with reporting, coordination, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Brand & Customer Engagement
    • Assist with customer tasting events and product demonstrations as required.
    • Represent the company professionally and positively when interacting with customers.
