The predicted salary is between 27063 - 27063 £ per year.
12 hour shifts, (4 on/4 off Shifts) 2 days 6am - 6pm & 2 nights 6pm to 6am. You will be the point of contact for logistics in and out of site. Weighing vehicles (lorries/trains), checking that the weight of the loads is correct, issuing the correct documentation whether that’s delivery documents, waste management documentation or scrap transactions. You will need to keep safety at the forefront of your mind and ensure that drivers follow site rules and have the correct PPE, and be able to challenge when something is not right. You will be a strong communicator as you will be communicating with drivers as well as internal departments such as our planning team. Using internal databases to ensure our documentation and records are accurate, you will need to be someone who is comfortable using Microsoft Office.
You will be joining a recycling company that recycles scrap metal into new steel products. We are the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We are passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
