The predicted salary is between 1050 - 1270 £ per month.
Joining our Engineering Team, you'll be working on some of the largest pieces of kit and machinery in the industry. One day, you could be maintaining 240T gantry cranes, and the next installing high speed gear boxes. The role will build upon all of your Mechanical Engineering knowledge and experience.
What industry you come from is not important to us. We look for people who are passionate about engineering and constantly look for ways to improve. Our manufacturing processes are demanding and no two days are the same. You will need to be robust and develop your knowledge to deal with a range of different problems and issues.
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum NVQ Level 3)
- Experience of Permit Systems, Mechanical Safety and Isolations
- Repair and maintenance experience in Gearboxes and Motors
- Previous experience of Coupling Realignment and realignment tools
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience desirable
- Experience with conveyors and belts desirable
- Experience with water pumps maintenance desirable
You’ll be joining a recycling company that recycles scrap metal into new steel products. We're the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We're passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
