The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As a Scrap Yard Manager, you will be responsible for all activities in the yard as well as the people. You will ensure jobs are completed to a high standard and that all health and safety guidelines are strictly followed. You will also be inspecting daily deliveries and ensuring that the quality of scrap meets our standards. The yard has plenty going on, so you will need to be organised with a hands-on approach. Experience managing operations and people is essential. Ideally, you will also have knowledge of scrap metal and experience operating machinery, but ultimately your managerial skills are what’s important.
