Joining us as a Senior SAP Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end SAP application landscape, strategy and service delivery. Your initial focus will be on leading our SAP carve out and transition to a fully independent SAP environment. You’ll be joining a recycling company – we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. We’re the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We’re passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and deliver the SAP carve-out program, including system separation, data migration, transition project, and stabilization of the target SAP landscape.
- Own SAP S/4HANA roadmap including: functional standardization, template design, and long-term evolution.
- Build, mentor and lead internal SAP team and effectively cooperate with AMS providers.
Qualifications
You will have existing experience working in SAP roles, specifically delivering complex carve-outs or transformations. Most importantly, you will prioritise building relationships and strong communication with stakeholders, your team, and the wider organization, to successfully drive long-term strategies, continuous improvement and performance.
