Joining our Rod and Bar Mill Team as a Senior Electrical Engineer, your days will be exciting and varied. Your time will be spent between the offices and down on the plant, so no two days will look the same.

Planning, prioritising, scheduling, and managing electrical activities (e.g. planned maintenance programmes, shutdowns, and emergency repairs) to rectify breakdowns and minimise business disruption.

Provide technical advice and support to other electrical and automation engineers in the department, including root cause analysis, fault finding, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.

Prioritising health and safety policies in all areas of your work, and leading by example.

You will have extensive experience working in the Electrical or Automation Engineering fields, preferably in a hot rolling mill. Because of this, you will have the technical expertise to support the training and development of the engineering team, as well as contribute within the wider team to ensure the successful running of the mill.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will require a degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (BSc minimum).
