Joining our Rod and Bar Mill Team as a Rolling Mill Process Engineer, your day will be varied and exciting. One day you could be supporting process capacity studies, undertaking risk assessments or preparing monthly reports on principal activities related to the progress. And then the next, you could be out on the plant working hands-on with our Production and Engineering teams.

You will be responsible for identifying, implementing and standardising process improvements projects to ensure safe, consistent and efficient production. This will include solving problems on the plant and ensuring that all teams follow the correct process. You will also analyse more complex engineering data to develop new production processes, whilst estimating time requirements for each step and preparing operation sheets.

Ideally, you will have experience of working within a heavy industry environment, and a degree in a STEM related field. However, most importantly, you will enjoy hands-on work, be motivated to solve problems and thrive in a team environment, all whilst promoting continuous improvement.
