HSQ Technician 7 Steel Service UK

Newport Up to £28,000 Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm, and Friday 8:30am-4pm As a HSQ Technician at 7 Steel Service UK, youll be joining a team that is dedicated to creating a safe working environment for our people.

Working within our Health & Safety and Quality departments no two days will be the same; one minute, you could be conducting on-site inductions and the next, updating procedures to meet current legislation.

Youll not only be responsible for supporting our managers to ensure that health & safety polices are followed, you will also play a key role in improving them.

You will ideally have a Health & Safety background in a manufacturing environment.

However, what is most important to us is that you are a confident communicator and you are able to convey your expertise, knowledge and advice to others.

Regular inspections, auditing and following up on agreed actions will be a key part of your role, so preferably a Member of ISOH and a NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
