As a HSQ Technician at 7 Steel Service UK, you will be joining a team that is dedicated to creating a safe working environment for our people. Working within our Health & Safety and Quality departments, no two days will be the same; one minute, you could be conducting on-site inductions and the next, updating procedures to meet current legislation. You will be responsible for supporting our managers to ensure that health & safety policies are followed, and you will also play a key role in improving them.

You will ideally have a Health & Safety background in a manufacturing environment. However, what is most important to us is that you are a confident communicator and able to convey your expertise, knowledge and advice to others. Regular inspections, auditing and following up on agreed actions will be a key part of your role, so preferably a Member of IOSH and a NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
