Weetwood Hall is seeking an experienced, commercially focused and highly organised Sales, Wedding & Events Coordinator to support the growth of corporate events, private celebrations and weddings at the hotel.
This is a key role within the Sales and Events team, responsible for handling enquiries, converting bookings, coordinating client requirements and ensuring a seamless handover to the operational team.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a hotel, events venue or hospitality sales environment and will be confident managing both corporate events and wedding enquiries.
The role requires a proactive, personable and detail-driven individual who can build strong client relationships, manage multiple enquiries at once and support the hotel in maximising revenue across meetings, conferences, private events, weddings, accommodation and food and beverage.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage wedding enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed booking.
- Conduct wedding showrounds and planning appointments with couples and families.
- Promote wedding packages, private dining options, evening receptions and bespoke event solutions.
- Coordinate key wedding details including guest numbers, timings, food and beverage requirements, suppliers, décor, accommodation and final function details.
- Support multicultural and specialist wedding enquiries, including room-hire-only events and external caterer requirements where applicable.
- Ensure all wedding contracts, deposits, payment schedules and final details are managed accurately.
- Produce clear and detailed event function sheets for operational teams.
- Respond professionally and promptly to incoming enquiries by phone, email, website, online platforms and direct leads.
- Proactively follow up on enquiries to drive conversion and secure confirmed bookings.
- Identify opportunities to upsell bedrooms, catering, drinks packages, private dining, AV, room upgrades and additional event services.
The successful candidate should have
- Previous experience in a hotel, events venue, wedding venue or hospitality sales environment.
- Experience handling both corporate events and weddings.
- Strong sales ability with confidence in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence conducting client showrounds and building rapport.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
- Good attention to detail, especially when preparing contracts and function sheets.
