- Help develop, coach and motivate the restaurant team, supporting colleagues to build their skills and confidence.
- Create a positive, collaborative working environment where people feel supported and encouraged to grow.
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation and attention to detail.
- Develop a strong understanding of our menu, with a particular focus on local and sustainable seafood and quality grilled meats.
- Ensure the team can confidently discuss dishes, ingredients and preparation methods, making knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure excellent communication and a seamless dining experience.
- Handle guest feedback, requests and queries professionally, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist with team training, onboarding and the continued development of our service standards.
- Support the Restaurant Manager with rotas, stock control, ordering and other operational responsibilities as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve service, processes and the overall guest offering.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver a consistent experience across the hotel.
