7 Bamboos Rugby is looking for a talented and passionate student to join our team as Social Media Creator this summer. This is a hands-on, real-world opportunity for someone who wants to build their portfolio while being part of an exciting rugby club environment.

Location: South West (Bristol, Bath, Gloucester & surrounding areas)

Start date: Immediate

Duration: June through early August (tournaments + ongoing weekly content)

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for managing and growing our Instagram presence—@7bamboosrugby—through compelling photo and video content. You’ll be pitchside at tournaments across the South West, capturing the action and telling our story to a growing audience.

Responsibilities

  • Creating 3–4 posts per week (photo and video content)
  • Attending and covering tournaments and training sessions across the South West
  • Planning and scheduling engaging content that reflects the club’s identity
  • Growing engagement and visibility on Instagram

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently studying marketing, graphic design, media, communications or a related discipline
  • Sports background essential—rugby experience or knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Based in the South West and available throughout June, July and early August
  • Creative, reliable and able to work independently
  • Strong eye for visual content and video editing

Please note: Due to our tournament schedule, this role is only open to candidates based locally in the South West who are available during the full summer period.
