As a member of the WBD Sports Europe team, you will be working across our entire sports portfolio, focusing on the premium sports content in the UK market. You will assist the Producer in all stages of a programme or series, contribute and develop ideas for programmes across WBD Sports channels and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in developing concepts and content for assigned programmes to be used across WBD Sports channels and platforms.
  • Producing, editing and writing scripts, teases, features, and other elements for live and recorded shows.
  • Directing off-site multi-camera shoots, sometimes with high-profile contributors.
  • Providing story ideas to generate programme elements, from concept to execution.
  • Supervising edit sessions and audio recording sessions.
  • Liaising with relevant members of the production team to ensure delivery of content to deadlines.
  • Liaising with suppliers and third parties to ensure project tasks are delivered.
  • Contributing to discussions around new ideas and initiatives and changes to workflows to increase efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of broadcast environment and live production techniques, including studio-based shows, remote productions and outside broadcasts.
  • Ability to produce / direct ENG camera shoots.
  • Working knowledge of non-linear editing techniques with a view to being able to produce fast-turnaround edits across assigned programmes.
  • Ability to contribute content ideas and suggestions.
  • Ability to self-shoot is desirable, but not a necessity.
  • Organisational and planning skills, precise attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
  • Time-management – demonstrable ability to meet deadlines.

Hybrid Working:

This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
