About the Role
Are you passionate about writing content that drives performance and not just page views? Then this could be the role for you! As our SEO Content Writer, you will create high-quality, search-led content for automotive clients across the UK. You will work closely with our Marketing team and SEO specialists to turn insight, data, and strategy into content that attracts the right audiences and helps dealerships stand out in competitive markets. You will be writing content that informs, persuades, and performs (from evergreen service pages to insight‑led blogs), while adapting tone and approach across multiple brands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing with purpose, understands how content fits into wider SEO performance, and wants to grow alongside a knowledgeable, collaborative team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing clear, engaging, SEO‑optimised content for automotive websites, including blogs, landing pages, service pages, and supporting site content
- Collaborating with our SEO team to implement keyword strategies, on‑page optimisation, and content improvements
- Liaising with clients to understand content briefs, objectives, and brand requirements, and executing content to deliver the best possible outcome
- Researching automotive topics, brands, models, and industry trends to produce accurate, authoritative content
- Adapting tone of voice to suit different clients, audiences, and brand guidelines
- Updating and optimising existing content based on SEO performance data
- Writing metadata (titles, descriptions, headers) aligned with best practice and search intent
- Supporting content audits, competitor analysis, and editorial planning
- Maintaining consistently high standards of grammar, structure, and factual accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style
- 1 to 3 years’ professional content writing experience (agency experience a plus)
- Excellent command of written British English
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and clients
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines
- A working understanding of SEO fundamentals and content marketing
- Ability to work primarily from our Shoreham office and commute by car
