Join one of Cisco’s most ground-breaking sales teams in the Security Velocity business. You will be part of a team focused on acquiring net new logos, expanding footprint in existing customers, and driving business development with strategic partners. This role offers opportunities to grow and make a tangible impact on Cisco’s future for those passionate about shaping the future of cybersecurity and driving business forward.
Responsibilities
- Sell Security technologies (focused on SaaS or SASE technologies).
- Craft and grow channel relationships as well as direct engagement with target accounts to drive revenue.
- Own a quota and territory aligned with a Cisco generalist territory; provide support for and build relationships with Cisco counterparts (Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Regional Managers, etc.).
- Engage prospects generated by various lead-generation methods; identify decision-makers within targeted accounts to begin the sales process.
- Demonstrate and present Security solutions via live web-based demos and in-person presentations.
- Build pipeline through individual prospecting and sales development collaboration.
- Travel as necessary for prospect meetings and to support marketing efforts (trade shows, exhibits, and other events).
- Overcome objections, emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
- Attend periodic sales training where applicable; properly document and track all prospect and customer information in Salesforce.com.
- Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts to management.
Minimum Requirements
- Language: English on a fluent level.
- 3+ years of account closing software selling experience (Cyber Security selling preferred).
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly articulate the business benefits (value proposition) of Cisco’s products and services.
- Direct touch sales experience.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience selling complex software-based solutions; proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook & Office products.
- Experience applying solution-selling methodologies to improve corporate revenue growth.
- All-around knowledge of the Security Market and Channel.
- Enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and team-first with the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment.
- Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, and remote sales processes.
- Proficiency using Salesforce.com or other CRM systems; experience with MEDDPICC methodology.
