Production Finance Accountant

Join Warner Bros. Discovery as a Production Finance Accountant, where you will partner with Finance Executives to build and manage the financial foundation of each show. You will oversee banking and funding, manage cash flow throughout a production’s lifecycle, and ensure compliance with internal processes and guild/union audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and maintain production bank accounts.
• Manage cash flow, including funding requests and transfers.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or outstanding items.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly reconciliation reports for management review.
• Assist with complex transactions and problem‑solving as needed.
• Guide company policies, accounting procedures, and system usage.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for multiple productions.
• Support special projects or initiatives led by the VP or Directors.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial data for executive decision‑making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Solid production or accounting experience.
• Proficiency with C&C and EP accounting software and other industry‑standard digital systems.
• Familiarity with production accounting software such as PSL, Smart Accounting, or Eclipse is a plus.

Hybrid Working

This role is advertised as a hybrid work model, combining remote and in‑office work in accordance with company policy. The arrangement may be adjusted by your Line Manager, consistent with applicable laws and business needs.
