An award winning commercial property managing agent are looking for a Facilities Manager to manage a mixed Birmingham portfolio.

The FM acts as the front line for the company, assisting in all aspects of service delivery and supporting the wider Facilities Managers and Senior Management team. The role is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of management, maintenance, and service are maintained across the assigned portfolio, with a specific focus on the Birmingham portfolio.

Skills

  • Ensure the day-to-day running of buildings within the portfolio is effectively managed.

  • Monitor contractor/supplier performance and report findings to the Facilities Manager.

  • Address any issues that may impact the client, tenant, or service of the property.

  • Conduct regular property inspections and maintain accurate records.

  • Collect and manage utility meter readings using relevant systems.

  • Provide the highest level of service standards to clients and building tenants.

  • Assist in drafting and monitoring service charge budgets.

  • Understand expenditure allocation and ensure invoices are correctly apportioned to each property.

  • Fulfill compliance and policy requirements in accordance with company policies and relevant legislative frameworks.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Full driving license required.

  • IOSH certification is desirable.
