We are seeking a qualified electrician with strong leadership and organisational skills to support our studio operations. The role involves maintaining, modifying, and installing electrical systems across the studio site.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Report progress and updates via provided media outlets.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sign‑off sheets, compliance records, and Planon updates.
  • Monitor H&S compliance, ensuring correct PPE is worn.
  • Ensure electrical and mechanical equipment is maintained for continuous operation and legal compliance.
  • Operate and maintain mechanical systems via the BMS.
  • Supervise, instruct, and perform small installation works and modifications.
  • Respond to emergencies, implementing temporary and permanent fixes and following escalation processes.
  • Back‑fill the Lead Electrician when required, managing rotas, holiday requests, sickness cover, time and attendance.
  • Audit and review stock levels, keeping critical spares in stock.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Use and maintenance of site plant equipment; training provided for MEWPS, trailers and forklift.
  • Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems.
  • Technologically proficient with electrical and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of the Building Management System (BMS); training provided.
  • Full working knowledge and adherence to H&S standards.
  • Interpret drawings and building specifications for fault finding and installations.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable (Aspirational) Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Approved Electrician with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
  • BS th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations accreditation.
  • Awareness of Electricity Supply Regulations and Electricity at Work Act.
  • JIB/ECS card, 2391, inspecting and testing experience.
  • NVQ Level 3.

Working Conditions

This position is advertised as Onsite; all working hours and days will be carried out at the studio location.
