Overview
Your New Role: You will join the Facilities team in Soho Square, handling preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, office moves, safety initiatives and site improvements to keep facilities functional for clients, staff and productions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the facility is clean and in proper working order at all times.
- Provide 1st line support to all staff and clients for facility maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with 3rd party contractors (cleaners, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control).
- Coordinate with operations and scheduling to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Manage inventory of furniture and the moving/installation of furniture as required; heavy lifting involved.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks (fire alarms, site condition, fire doors, PPE records) and maintain audit-ready records.
- Conduct risk assessments and staff safety inductions per Health and Safety policies, and maintain audit records.
- Ad hoc decorating, carpentry or installation work as needed.
- Be part of Fire Wardens; assist in ensuring the safety of all personnel on site.
- Occasional out-of-hours work including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build immediate rapport with clients and staff.
- General carpentry, metalwork, and plumbing skills.
- Demonstrable experience in facility maintenance roles.
- Desirable: IOSH, First Aid At Work, Fire Door Inspection.
Working Arrangement
Onsite role; all working hours at the place of work. Subject to applicable laws, the line manager may change this arrangement with reasonable notice.
