We are looking for a Manager, Pharmacovigilance Alliance Contracting in High Wycombe, UK. The role leads negotiations, contractual management, and operational maintenance of Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs) for J&J Innovative Medicine, Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO). Responsibilities * Leads the PVA and New Business Integration/Divestment process and monitors alliance contracts, escalating issues as needed. * Owns the end‑to‑end PVA development, execution, maintenance, and termination of PVAs and associated deliverables. * Sets tactical approaches, drives operational plans for PVA negotiation and execution, and leads strategy meetings with minimal guidance. * Analyzes, evaluates, and supports implementation of process and technology improvements (digital tools, workflow automation, AI solutions, data‑driven dashboards) to improve compliance, cycle times, and quality. * Defines and champions governance, standards, and training for tools that manage PVAs, ensuring scalable adoption and consistent execution. * Maintains group workflow management tracking tools for PVA activities. * Manages and tracks due‑diligence responsibilities for acquisitions, alliances, and divestitures on behalf of OCMO. * Participates in Due Diligence (Licensing & Acquisitions, Mergers & Acquisitions) efforts; evaluates pharmacovigilance processes and product safety components of global or regional licensing and acquisition opportunities. * Flags emerging issues in licensing relationships and ensures the PAC Team Lead and the PAC Team are aware. * Manages PV alliance relationships and takes action on potential issues, escalating as required to optimize alliances with minimal resources. Qualifications * Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferably Medical, Business or Legal); Master’s degree preferred. * Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in pharmacovigilance. * Proven experience in group facilitation, program management, and driving teams to achieve deliverables within agreed parameters and timelines. * Proficiency with contract language and standard legal terms and conditions for commercial contracts. * Strong problem‑solving, organizational, coordination, presentation, writing, communication, and negotiation skills. * Excellent computer skills and ability to use technology platforms; experience with PowerApps or AI solutions is a plus. Preferred Qualifications & Skills * Applied knowledge of pharmacovigilance laws and regulations at a global level (e.g., HIPAA, EU PV Legislation, Code of Federal Regulations). * Working experience in a drug safety organization with operational responsibilities. * Experience with technology platforms such as PowerApps or AI-based solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
