Join Sulzer, a renowned leader in fluid engineering, with a century-long tradition of excellence in pumps, agitators, compressors, and critical rotating equipment across various industries. At our Pumps, Parts & Retrofit (PPR) division in Leeds, we seek a proactive and commercially savvy Buyer / Expeditor to manage procurement and delivery of components and services for complex projects.

Your Role:

As a Buyer / Expeditor, you will work cross-functionally to ensure timely, budget-compliant procurement of products and services, impacting project performance, supplier relationships, and operations.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery
• Collaborate with suppliers on timelines, pricing, and performance
• Maintain accurate SAP system data with live delivery updates
• Conduct supplier development and performance reviews
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost recovery initiatives

Requirements to succeed:

• Proven experience in purchasing or supply chain roles (preferably in engineering/manufacturing)
• Strong commercial skills with negotiation and relationship-building expertise
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in resolving issues
