Your New Role… The Marketing (New Release Film & TV) Placement Interns will support various Warner Bros. Discovery teams with their marketing campaigns across all new and existing content. There are a variety of Placement positions within the Marketing (New Release Film & TV) division across Film, TV, Brand Partnership and Creative Marketing teams, therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Working alongside marketing executives and managers to manage title projects.
- Working closely with the marketing and publicity teams, supporting the development of creative marketing campaigns across a variety of our content and brands across Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
- Managing and updating a selection of schedules and reports, including tracking key marketing metrics to aid decision making.
- Assist the brand partnership department in the co-ordination, development, and implementation of multi-market deals across EMEA.
- Supporting cross-divisional collaboration, joining the dots across all relevant business units and departments in the UK.
- Manage the briefing process with external creative agencies and in-house design support, building strong working relationships.
- Assisting with the production and delivery of creative assets and display materials for key retail and media activity.
- Managing social calendars across a range of titles, both individually and alongside an agency.
- Researching competitor information and tactical film marketing opportunities online in both the theatrical and Home Entertainment windows for allocated titles.
- Carrying out day-to-day admin tasks to support department.
Qualifications & Experience… You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028. Passionate about marketing and the film & entertainment industry. Well-organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. A positive attitude, a creative open mind and a calm demeanour.
The Internship… Salary: £27,000 p/a Contract Length: 12 months Start Date: 6th July 2026 You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more. You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!

Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8th February. Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in February. Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.
