The Opportunity

We're looking for a curious, driven and technically minded individual to join us as an AI Solutions Apprentice.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work with AI, automation, data and technology and see the direct impact your work can have on a growing international business.

You won't just be learning about AI in theory. You'll be getting involved in real projects, building tools, testing new technology, automating processes and finding ways to make our business work smarter.

You'll work closely with our leadership team and teams across the business to understand how we currently work, identify opportunities for improvement and help turn those ideas into practical technology solutions.

You'll get exposure to a wide mix of areas, including:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Automation
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• APIs
• Data & analytics
• CRM systems
• Systems integration
• Dashboards & reporting
• Technology research
• Process optimisation

You'll also get the chance to work across our different brands and understand how technology can be applied to different areas of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

AI & Automation

A big part of the role will be looking at how we can use AI and automation to improve the way we work.

You'll:

• Design, build and deploy AI-powered tools and automations
• Identify repetitive processes that could be automated
• Experiment with large language models (LLMs), APIs and emerging AI platforms
• Test new AI tools and technologies
• Explore practical ways AI can improve recruitment workflows
• Help teams understand how they can use AI effectively in their day-to-day work

Data & Technology

You'll also get involved in the data and systems that support the business.

You'll:

• Develop internal dashboards and reporting tools
• Support data pipelines and data analysis
• Help improve data quality
• Support CRM optimisation
• Assist with systems integration projects
• Use data to help identify opportunities for improvement
• Help turn business information into useful insights
• Problem Solving & Business Improvement

This role isn't just about writing code or using AI tools.

We want you to understand why something needs improving and how technology can solve the problem.

You'll:

• Work with consultants, managers and leadership to understand business challenges
• Translate business problems into potential technical solutions
• Research new technologies and vendors
• Test different approaches and tools
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and productivity
• Help evaluate whether new technology could have a genuine commercial benefit
• Contribute ideas to our wider AI and technology roadmap

You'll have the opportunity to work on projects where you can actually see the results of what you build.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is genuinely interested in technology, excited by AI and keen to learn but you don't need to know everything already!

You'll ideally have:

• A qualification, or be near completion of a qualification, in Computer Science, Computing, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline
• A genuine interest in AI, machine learning and emerging technology
• Familiarity with at least one programming language — Python is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An ability to think logically and break down problems
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
• A proactive and self-starting approach
• The ability to work independently and take ownership
• An interest in how technology can be used to solve real business problems
• A willingness to experiment, learn and try new things

This is an apprenticeship, so we don't expect you to arrive knowing everything.

We're looking for someone who is curious, ambitious and willing to get stuck in.

You'll learn on the job, work closely with our leadership team and gain practical experience across AI, automation, data, systems and technology.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills while also learning how technology is used to solve real commercial problems.

You'll be encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, experiment with new tools and learn from what works and what doesn't.

Apprenticeship Requirements

You'll need:

• A qualification, or be near completion of a qualification, in Computer Science, Computing, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline
• An interest in AI, technology and problem-solving
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, with Python preferred
• The ability to work from our Bristol office as required
