RedHat OpenShift Specialist
(UK-based, Remote/Occasional On-Site)
Location: London Area
Contract: 6 Months+
Rates: Negotiable
We are seeking an experienced RedHat OpenShift Specialist to join a team and support the deployment and management of OpenShift in disconnected, on-premises environments.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise in Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) and be comfortable managing multiple clusters securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in air-gapped or disconnected environments.
- Implement and manage ACM for centralized cluster management across multiple sites.
- Deploy and maintain ACS for security, compliance, and runtime protection.
- Maintain cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational stability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define policies, security standards, and governance across clusters.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience deploying OpenShift in disconnected/on-prem environments.
- Proven experience with ACM and ACS, including multi-cluster management and security policy enforcement.
- Strong understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Experience with offline updates, mirrored repositories, and operator management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with OpenShift Operators, Helm charts, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage, and security best practices.
