Day to day of the role:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using the AWS ecosystem
  • Leading development of a greenfield product from the ground up
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape technical direction
  • Mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of clean code and continuous improvement
  • Working as part of a close-knit, agile team with a high degree of autonomy

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Python development experience
  • Strong hands-on skills with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions
  • Experience with SQS, SNS, S3, EventBridge, API Gateway, and related services
  • Confident with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred), IAM, CloudWatch, and Git-based workflows
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
