This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team, working closely with Production, Process Engineering and Quality to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and support manufacturing performance. Salary and Benefits Salary of Β£38,500 – Β£41,500, dependent upon experience. Predominantly day-based working hours. Early finish every Friday. Company pension. The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Role As the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will provide reactive and planned maintenance support across a busy plastics manufacturing operation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control-system faults.
  • Responding efficiently to machinery breakdowns and minimising lost production.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance activities.
  • Investigating recurring failures and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Supporting injection and blow-moulding machinery, ancillary equipment and site services.
  • Assisting with machine setup and recommissioning following mould changes.
