My client is looking to recruit a Quality Control Manager to lead the quality function within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a role for someone who can take control of standards, drive improvement, and hold the line on quality, not just report on it.
The Role
- Take full ownership of the QC function, leading the team and ensuring quality is embedded into production processes.
- Leading, managing and developing the QC team.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and quality systems.
- Driving root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Managing NCR processes and defect handling.
- Monitoring KPIs and reporting performance to senior management.
- Supporting production teams to improve quality and reduce scrap.
- Driving continuous improvement across the business.
- Managing customer quality communication.
- Supporting wider business quality strategy.
About You
- Proven experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.
- Experience managing teams and driving performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Confident communicator across all levels.
