Salary: £42,000 - £45,000

Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours, 30-minute unpaid break)

My client is looking to recruit a Quality Control Manager to lead the quality function within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a role for someone who can take control of standards, drive improvement, and hold the line on quality, not just report on it.

The Role

  • Take full ownership of the QC function, leading the team and ensuring quality is embedded into production processes.
  • Leading, managing and developing the QC team.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and quality systems.
  • Driving root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Managing NCR processes and defect handling.
  • Monitoring KPIs and reporting performance to senior management.
  • Supporting production teams to improve quality and reduce scrap.
  • Driving continuous improvement across the business.
  • Managing customer quality communication.
  • Supporting wider business quality strategy.

  • Proven experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
