My client, a long-established plastics manufacturer, is looking to recruit an Injection Moulding Maintenance Engineer to support a busy, high-volume production environment. This is not a role where you sit back and wait for breakdowns; you’ll be expected to take ownership of machine performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the shop floor.
As an Injection Moulding Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of production machinery and associated equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across injection moulding machinery
- Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintaining ancillary equipment including conveyors and regrind systems
- Supporting and developing preventative maintenance schedules
- Managing and maintaining critical spare parts stock
- Recording all maintenance activity and machine performance data
- Working closely with production and process teams to reduce downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
