Basic salary: £35k – £40k. Uncapped OTE (Clear commission plan which shows opportunity to earn over £100k). Location: London / Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office).

My client is a well-established and market-leading technical recruitment firm looking to hire a business development executive to help attract new clients to the business. With a team of qualified recruiters working on the delivery of roles, your main objective is to land and expand relationships via different methods, including cold calling, networking, and digital outreach. This is a new role within the company, allowing for fresh ideas and the opportunity to make a name for yourself with future growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate New Business
  • Win new clients across the specialist markets (permanent and contract)
  • Build a consistent outbound pipeline
  • Convert prospects and manage client relationships
  • Market mapping
  • Work with delivery teams to act on lead information
  • Proactively identify companies via different data sources
  • Position the pitch for a long-term approach
  • Identify hiring managers and decision-makers
  • Build relationships with leaders within the field

Day to Day Commercial:

  • Lead discovery calls
  • Own and negotiate agreements
  • Manage the full sales cycle through to successful terms of business signed

YOU:

  • Ideally from a recruitment background; tech experience would be advantageous
  • Phone-based sales experience
  • Face-to-face sales experience
  • High energy and volume approach with a professional manner
  • Ability to spot opportunities and be creative
  • Organised with the ability to follow processes for pipeline management
  • Desire to be the best version of yourself every day
